The location of the hotel is convenient, as it is next to their small but well-equipped gift shop where guests can find souvenirs and other items. The gift shop is a nice addition to the hotel amenities and provides a convenient option for guests to pick up any essentials they may need during their stay.
The cleanliness of the hotel has been mentioned in the reviews, with guests expressing concerns about the dirty windows and lack of cleanliness in certain areas such as the cafe and the rooms.

The surroundings were beautiful and offered various outdoor activities such as walking and animal interaction. The animals were well taken care of and in good condition. The hotel's location allowed for a refreshing country retreat without relying on television entertainment in the rooms.

We had a fantastic family vacation down the hill with the instructor at Pinegrove. the rooms were spacious and well-maintained, and the service was exceptional. We enjoyed the delicious food, especially the breakfast with its delicious pancakes, eggs, and bacon. the activities were a hit with the kids, from pony rides to snow tubing. the indoor pool with two slides was a blast, and the outdoor bounce pillow provided endless fun.
The food lines at the snack bar were a bit long due to understaffing.

I loved the setting of this hotel. It is nestled halfway down the hill with a beautiful view of the lake. The location allowed me to take picturesque walks in the countryside and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Additionally, the hotel facilities were fantastic, with many different activities available for guests to enjoy. The animals on the ranch were in good condition, which added to the overall charm. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.
Could not be improved in any way.

Stayed here on 4th of July weekend and had a blast! Plenty of activities for kids and adults, including horse riding, archery, and a bounce pad. The on-site childcare was super clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast and dinner hall had Applebee's quality food, while the lunch place and food court were more casual but served good quality food. The indoor and outdoor pools were great and even had water slides. The location was perfect, with ball fields and rock climbing nearby.
Some of the areas need more upkeep and could use a renovation, but this is not a high-end place. The options for dining were limited, but the quality of the food was good.

This hotel is an absolute steal for the price! The value for money at this countryside retreat is unbeatable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly and attentive staff who made us feel right at home. The attention to detail in this hotel is remarkable, from the charming decor in the small but well-equipped gift shop to the thoughtfully decorated rooms.
All was good, nothing that could be improved.

The food was decent and we enjoyed being able to participate in a variety of activities throughout the day.
The accommodations were subpar and in need of serious maintenance. Our room was in a state of disrepair and the heating system was not functioning properly.
